Nagarjunasagar (Nalgonda): Telangana Rashtra Samithi candidate from Nalgonda Parliamentary constituency Vemireddy Narsimha Reddy stated that Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy with fear of defeat and frustration has been making baseless comments against Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and also against him.

On Wednesday, along with Minister Jagadish Reddy, Narsimha Reddy participated in the poll campaign in Tripuraram mandal of Nagarjunasagar constituency.

Addressing the gathering, he called Uttam the boss of thieves and robbers and accused him of selling party tickets in recent Assembly elections.

Stating that Rs 40 lakh cash was caught by the police at Abudullapurmet on Wednesday afternoon, he alleged that Uttam was trying to woo the voters with money.

Minister Jagadish Reddy stated that AICC chief Rahul Gandhi meeting in Huzurnagar was a flop show. "Even 10,000 people did not turn up for the meeting," he mocked, stating that the victory of TRS from Nalgonda was confirmed on the day of Rahul's meeting.

"Congress state office, Gandhi Bhavan, will be shut down after Parliament elections," he said, adding that not only Telangana, the whole country was awaiting KCR's leadership.

Calling KCR a visionary leader, he urged the voters to support the good work done by the TRS chief in the last five years.

Nagarjunasagar MLA Nomula Narsimhaiah, Rythu Samanvaya Samithi state chairman Gutha Sukender Reddy and party local leaders took part in the campaign.
