Constable held for sexually assaulting woman in Hyderabad

A constable was arrested on Thursday for sexually assaulting a woman here at Malakpet.
A Siva Kumar, a resident of Badangpet and was working as a constable in police headquarters. He sexually assaulted the woman multiple times on the pretext of marriage. On January 11, 2020 - the accused married another woman and asked the victim to forget him.
The victim then approached Malakpet police and lodged a cheating case against the constable. The police registered a case under relevant sections of IPC and took the accused into custody.
An investigation is underway.
