Constructions works of Bhadradri power plant in full swing

Hyderabad: The construction works of 4X270MW (1080MW) of Badradri Thermal Power Station (BTPS) near Ramanujavaram Village, Manuguru Mandal of BhadradriKothagudem Distt taken up with a cost of Rs.7857 Crores are in full swing.

The first unit boiler is lighted up on Monday as per schedule. Similarly all the balance units boilers will be lighted up subsequently in coming months and units will be commissioned by the end of this year to meet the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Scheme (KLIS) power requirement.

TSGENCO Chairman and Managing Director D. Prabhakar Rao congratulated all the engineers of TSGENCO, BHEL & vendors and requested to keep up the same tempo to commission all the units as per the schedule by the end of this year.

This is the second green field project started after the formation of the state for which Honourable CM has laid the foundation stone.

Director (Projects) Sachidanandam, Director (Thermal) Laxmaiah, Director (Civil) Ajay, CE/BTPS, Balaraju, CEs SAMMAIAH and TSN Murthy, SE/Tech, Hanuman and Agarwal, GM/BHEL and all engineers were also present at the site.
