Continue development works in villages: Collector M Rammohan Rao

Nizamabad: District Collector M Rammohan Rao ordered the zonal officials to continue the development work in villages. He held a meeting on several issues with MPDOs, divisional POs and APOs through video conference from the Collectorate here on Thursday.

Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said that people have been involved in public works in the past and the public has been asked to beautify the villages. The officials were told to pay special attention for developing the villages as green forests through the government's project Haritha Haram.

The Collector questioned mandal and village special authorities as to why sanitation work is not carried out properly. Stating that along with conducting sanitation programmes, electric third wire is yet to be installed in some villages, he said and directed the officials to continue development programmes in villages.

DRDO Ramesh Rathod, Zilla Parishad CEO Govind, District Panchayat Officer Jayasudha, MPDOs, Divisional POs and others had attended the meeting.
