Cops seize 10 bikes during cordon and search in Nagarkurnool

Nagarkurnool: During an early morning cordon and search operation in Hyderpura Colony of Kalwakurthy mandal in Nagarkurnool district on Thursday, the police seized 10 bikes from the possession of residents of the Colony as they failed to provide proper vehicle registration documents.

Speaking on the occasion, Superintendent of Police Sai Sekhar said that the cordon and search operation are being done on a regular basis to instil confidence among public that they are under police safety. "The police are dutybound to keep a track of anti-social elements in the society. We are conducting cordon and search operations to keep such anti-social elements at bay and protect the public from them," said Sai Sekhar.

The cordon and search operation was conducted with more than 100 police constables who were supervised by SP Nagarkurnool, Additional SP Chennaiah, Kalwakurthy DSP Pushpa, and Circle Inspectors and Sub Inspectors.

The SP thanked the people for extending their support during the operation and said that with people's support, the police can keep the gangsters, thieves and those who commit organised crimes at bay.
