Cops to beef up steps for women safety in Siddipet

Siddipet: A seminar on awareness of women's safety for women and students was organised by SHE Teams for the girl students of degree college here on Wednesday. The event was held under the aegis of the International Complaints Committee. Police Commissioner Joel Davis was the chief guest of the programme.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that the year 2020 was declared as the year of women's safety and road safety. As part of this programme, awareness programmes would be conducted on road safety and protection for women in educational institutions.

Cyber Crime Resource Coordinator Sridhar explained about precautions to be taken while engaged in social media and other internet-based platforms.

College principal Prasad wished brotherhood should prevail among the students and they should grow as good citizens and bring laurels to the hometown and country.
