Khammam: Khammam Police Commissioner Tafseer Iqbal during his visit to Khammam Two Town Police Station on Monday stated that there needed to be further improvement in recovery of property with regard to thefts and property offences.

The Commissioner during his visit examined the Case Diary files of theft cases, FSL reports and the files of crime cases registered at the police station.

He also enquired with the Station House Officer of the police station about the details of pending cases at the police station and ordered the CI to complete the pending cases and file the charge sheets immediately.

The top cop advised the SHOs of all police stations in the district to implement the 17 verticals compulsory. He added that, in the course of 17 verticals, the court has cleared 58 per cent of trial cases registered last year.

It was possible only due to coordination between the police officers and the public prosecutors, he said, adding that it was the best result in the State. Later, he met with the police staff and enquired about their problems.

Trainee IPS officer Vineeth, Town ACP Venkat Rao, CIs Narender and Shivaramaiah were present during the CP's visit.
