Corona fears going viral: Covid taking shine off Holi in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Several event management companies are in a fix as celebrities have opted out from gracing Holi events citing the deadly new coronavirus as the reason.

Ravi K of Seesaw Events said, "Two celebrities backed out from festivities. We planned a rainwater party but thanks to the coronavirus scare, we are now calling off the event."

Every year, several themed parties are planned across the city.

Madhavan VP an event planner says, "We did not expect that Hyderabad would be hit but now all plans have gone for a toss as sponsors are backing out and people are sceptical."
