Doctors checked their health condition. According to government-appointed nodal officer for coronavirus Dr Vijay Kumar, Gandhi doctors did not admit them as they had no symptoms.

However they were advised to stay indoors for next two weeks and monitor their health condition closely. Meanwhile, coronavirus kits from Union Health Ministry have reached Gandhi hospital.

Trial tests are being done and guidance of NIV, Pune experts are being taken on it. The special officer said that nCoV sample testing at Gandhi hospital could begin anytime in the next 24 to 48 hours.

Once testing starts means there would be no requirement to send samples to the distant NIV, Pune any longer. Meanwhile as per fresh guidelines, all Indians with travel history to Wuhan after January 15 have to be checked by taking their samples irrespective of having symptoms or not while others returning from other parts of China will be tested with samples only if they have related nCoV symptoms.
