Coronavirus: Three from China admitted to Hyderabad hospital
Three of a family from China were admitted to Fever hospital on Tuesday suspecting of being infected by Coronavirus. The condition of the trio is said to be stable.
Around 100-bed isolation ward has been set up together in Fever Hospital, Gandhi Hospital and Chest Hospital to handle the spread of coronavirus. The doctors also decided to screen the passengers coming from China, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia at the passengers.
The screening was intensified at the airport and an ambulance is on standby to rush the patients to any of the three hospitals.
On Tuesday, a three-member team from the Ministry of Health visited Fever Hospital and Gandhi Hospital to check the preparedness of the doctors to tackle the virus outbreak. The team also checked the special isolation ward and asked the doctors to enhance the facilities in the lab.
