Corporator Thonta Anjayya undertakes Basti Darshan

R C Puram: As part of the 'Basti Darshan' programme, local Corporator Thonta Anjayya toured blocks 5,6,7 and 14 in the division to know the problems of residents. He said issues like drainage, sanitation, water supply, change of streetlight poles were brought to his notice.

Anjayya assured to solve them after holding discussions with officials concerned. He said soon a two ft pipeline would be launched and in two months main pipeline works would be taken up in blocks 6 and 7 and at Kanyakaparameswari temple and Methodist Church in blocks 14,15.

Among those who accompanied the corporator were DE Rajeswari, AE Prabhu, Narsing Rao, Maqbool, all officials of GHMC, TRS activists Govardhan, Ashok, Narsimha and Kishore.
