'Corrupt' revenue official's husband commits suicide in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Suspended MRO Sujatha's husband Ajay has committed suicide by jumping from a five-floor building at his relative residence in Chikkadapally in Hyderabad on Wednesday morning.

Sujatha was caught red-handed by ACB when she allegedly demanded bribe from a person to regularise costly land in the city. She was MRO of Shaikpet Mandal which is located close to Hi-tech City.

Relatives alleged that Ajay took extreme step unable to face the harassment by the ACB officials during the investigation into corrupt charges framed against his wife.
