Commonwealth Ministers call for equal access to Covid vaccination

Everything has been set by the health department for the COVID-19 dry run across 47 centres including 32 primary health centres in Nalgonda on Friday.

Around 11,037 healthcare workers from both government and private hospitals will be vaccinated. Their details were already uploaded in the CoWin app.

Nalgonda district medical and health officer Dr A Kondal Rao said that the vaccination drive will roll out in the country soon which is said to be the end of the pandemic. The DMHO said that around 25 healthcare staff whose names have been uploaded in the app will be called to appear at the dry run centres.

"The vaccine dry run will help in finding out the issues that could arise in vaccination so that measures could be taken during the actual vaccination programme," Kondal Rao said adding that the vaccines for dry run will reach the District vaccine store from Hyderabad.

For the COVID-19 vaccine dry run in the district, around 3,000 employees of the health department including doctors and ANMS completed the training according to the guidelines of state and central governments, he said.
