CP inspects RTC buses in Khammam

Khammam: Commissioner of Police Tafseer Iqbal inspected Khammam bus station on Friday. He interacted with the passengers and officials. He directed the temporary drivers to drive the buses safely and conductors to collect prescribed fare from the passengers.

During his interaction with the passengers, he enquired whether the conductors were collecting any additional fare and on the availability of bus services. While talking to the media, he said that bus services were being run as usual in different routes with police escort.

The Commissioner further said that in order to ensure security at bus stations and to avoid any untoward incidents four hundred policemen have been guarding main bus stations and depots. The personnel were being supervised by two ACP ranked officials, he added.

In addition to that, the personnel were conducting frequent patrolling on RTC routes, bus stations and depots. Under Khammam Police Commissionerate limits Section 144 was being enforced to maintain law and order, he added.
