CPI activists condemn arrest of party leader

Parigi: The constituency wing of CPI condemned the arrest of Kunamneni Sambasiva Rao, who went on hunger strike in support to RTC workers in Hyderabad. Condemning the arrest, the CPI activists staged protest by wearing black ribbons here on Monday.

They criticised the way police treated the former MLA and CPI state secretary. Party's secretary of the constituency, Peer Mohammed, mandal secretary Venkatesh, district secretary of Vikarabad Chennaiah, secretary of BCHSS Mohan Chary, Mallesh and others were present.
