CPM leader flays CM's stand on RTC strike
Patancheru: District CPI(M) secretary B Mallesh on Sunday criticised Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao's 'irresponsible ' stand on the TSRTC employees' strike, which resulted in the government failing to solve their problems on time.
Addressing a broad-based meeting in Shramika Bhavan, he pointed out that the RTC employees had informed the government a month back of launching strike if their problems were not solved. But the government failed to act forcing them to stop work.
The CPI(M) leader stated that instead of striving to resolve the strike, the CM had resorted to threats of dismissing the employees. KCR had also contended that the strike was illegal. 'This showed his dictatorial attitude', Mallesh added.
Among those present at the meeting were district committee members Jayaraj, Narsimha Reddy, party leaders Wajid Ali, Panduranga Reddy, Nageswara Rao, N Srinivas and George.
