Creating irrigation facilities, my responsibility: CM KCR

Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao said he will own up responsibility if any area in the state is facing any woes of irrigation. He said he was going ahead irrespective of the hurdles being created by the Opposition when it comes to irrigation projects.

"Godavari water should reach Nagarjunasagar Left Canal," he said, adding that more allocations would be made to Huzurnagar in the next budget. Wherever lifts and canals are needed, the government would examine and take up the works, KCR said.
