Cricket betting racket busted in Hyderabad, 2 held

Two persons were arrested by the task force police (North zone) here on Saturday at Narayanaguda.

The police on a tip-off raided Dew Drops apartment in Narayanaguda and arrested the two identified as Manoj Kumar (35) and Thakur Singh (21). Two mobile phones and a cash of Rs 1.73 lakh were recovered from them.

The duo was said to be organising cricket betting on the on going World Cup matches, said the police. They arrested were handed over to Narayanaguda police.
