Cricket tournament inaugurated in Rangareddy

Rangareddy: ZPTC Avinash Reddy inaugurated the district-level cricket tournament in memory of Patnam Rajender Reddy at Shabad on Tuesday. District-level volleyball matches will be held on February 27.

Avinash Reddy said that the trophy would be presented by MLC Patnam Mahender Reddy, Vikarabad ZP Chairperson Sunitha, and MLA Kale Yadaiah on the birth anniversary of Rajender Reddy on March 1. "With inspiration from Rajender Reddy, we have been conducting cricket and volleyball competitions for the last 32 years in the rural areas to promote youth sportsmanship,"he added.

Market committee chairman Srinivas Goud, former chairman Mateen, sarpanches, MPTCs and the TRS party leaders were present.
