Crime teams must create panic among criminals: CP VB Kamalasan Reddy

Karimnagar: The crime teams must create panic among the criminals by cracking down cases, ordered Police Commissioner VB Kamalasan Reddy at a crime review meeting with crime teams working under Karimnagar Police Commissionerate limits at the Commissionerate in Karimnagar on Monday.

The Police Commissioner told the crime team members to establish information systems in the society for receiving information from various sections of people about the anti-social activities that are taking place in their locality to keep a check on the crime rate and bring it down.

"By talking to old criminals, crime team members can get information how a crime will be committed, which would help them to get some clues for solving criminal cases with ease.

Immediately taking suspicious persons into custody, cops should take the fingerprints and must confirm the crime. By rendering better services, the police personnel must increase the prestige of the police department," he suggested.

The CP told them to keep a check on robbery and stealing, the police personnel must continue patrolling in suspected areas. For cracking down the cases, utilise modern technology. Must keep constant vigil on notorious criminals, whose PD Act is concluded. Those, who render better services, will be rewarded with prizes.

Additional DCP Chandra Mohan, CCS ACP Srinivas, Inspector Ramchander Rao, IT Cell Cyber Lab in-charge RSI Murali, Fingerprints SI Sridhar, CCS SIs Ashok Reddy and Prasad were present along with others.
