CRPF cop saves grievously injured 7-yr-old girl

Bhadrachalam (Kothagudem): In a show of humanity, a CRPF official has saved the life of a tribal girl who was in a critical health condition.

According to sources, the CRPF 212 Battalion commandant Harinder Singh found the seven-year-old girl, Shammu, in a very critical health condition at the village during combing operations on April 12 at Kistaram village in Sukma district of Chhattisgarh state.

It was said that her stomach was torn apart by a piece of wood and she lacked proper medication. Upon learning that, the Commandant made arrangements to shift the girl to Bhadrachalam Area Hospital. The doctors Ramakrishna and Krishna Prasad performed surgery the girl and saved her.

According to hospital superintendent Dr Devaraj, the condition of the girl was stable and she was recovering. He lauded the CRPF official and personnel for their timely act that saved the life of the girl.
