Customs officials seize gold worth Rs 19 lakh cash at Hyderabad airport

The customs officials have seized gold worth Rs 10 lakh cash from a passenger at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) on Monday.
The passenger who is learned to have arrived Hyderabad from Bankok was caught with 599.98 gms of gold by the officials. According to the officials, the worth of gold is estimated to be of Rs 19,18,316.
On May 8, the customs officials seized gold worth Rs 1.09 crore from two passengers at the airport who arrived from Dubai. The gold weighted 3951 gms was recovered by the officials in the form of a paste.
