Customs officials seized Rs 1.09 crore worth gold at RGIA

The Hyderabad Customs officials on Wednesday seized Rs 1.09 crore worth gold from two passengers at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad.
According to officials, they have detected the gold weighing 3.329 kg from two pax valued at Rs.1.09 crore and booked the cases.
The two pax are travelling in Indigo 6E 025, from Dubai to Hyderabad.
The gold was recovered in paste form (gross weight-3951 grams) from near the rare part and rectum of both pax. The case is under investigation.
