Cyberabad cops to crack whip on loiterers

Hyderabad: The Cyberabad Police on Monday issued an advisory and warned the citizens that, if anybody is venturing out of their homes without any reason, then strict action will be taken against them.

Speaking to the media, the Commissioner noted, "The GO 45 has been issued for the safety of the people. It's a request from the government to each and every citizen and people should understand that they need to break the chain of Covid-19."

He further added, "All the private firms and companies who are open for the public shall allow only minimum number of employees and they should not crowd their companies.

Also the minimum employees attending offices shall maintain social distancing."

We have also observed that, there is a lot of vehicular traffic moving around in the regions of Aramghar, Shamshabad and ORR and also mass movement of people has been observed in such areas.

All the residents of these areas shall abide by the rules of government, if not strict action will be taken against them and they will be booked under Epidemic Diseases Act 1897 and the Disaster Management Act, 2005, said the officer.

"Moreover, restrictions have been imposed on vehicle movement on highways as all the state borders have been sealed and public transport also has been curbed.

Also the services of Ola, Uber, Vogo, Bounce, Zoom Car, Rapido etc have been stopped. Only emergency service vehicles, such as ambulances will be allowed," explained the Commissioner.
