Damaged road puts commuters at risk
Toopran: The road connecting Allapur to Imampur is in deplorable condition. The road was damaged completed, and gravel surfaced on the road. Two-wheeler riders are facing hard time to pass on the road as the way is slippery. And the dust engulfs the surroundings when a heavy vehicle passes on the road.
Srinivas, a resident of Imampur, said that the children and old people were affected with the dust and often fell sick. He requested authorities to complete the road as early as possible.
This road is in the jurisdiction of Gajwel constituency, from where Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is representing. There is a considerable traffic flow on this road. But officials seem to be not bothered about it.
Narsimha Chary, another villager said the road had been in this condition for the last one year. several accidents were also reported, and no officials concerned about this, he added. "We hope this issue will be solved as it come under CM's constituency," he hoped. Residents of both villages appeal authorities to end their woes by competing the road.
