Dattatreya hits out at Congress, TRS at membership drive in Nalgonda

Chityal (Nalgonda): Former Union Minister and BJP senior leader Bandaru Dattatreya stated that people of the country were happy with the saffron party's under the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Taking part as a chief guest to the party membership drive in Chityal town in the district on Tuesday, Dattatreya said the Congress had lost peoples' confidence both at the Centre and in the State due to its anti-people policies and similarly, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was continuing the autocratic rule in the State.

"People of the State are looking towards the saffron party for the development of the State and it was proved in the Parliament elections held recently," he said. Stating that BJP with huge membership across the country has emerged as most powerful party in the world, he called upon party leaders and cadre to strive to attract more people by giving wide publicity to Central government welfare schemes and development programmes.

He urged the party cadre to work hard to hoist party flags on all municipalities in the district, including Chityal municipality in forthcoming municipal elections.

Party district president Nukala Narsimha Reddy, party leaders Garlapati Jithendra Kumar, Goli Madusudan Reddy, Veerelly Chandra Shekar, Pothepaka Sambaiah, Nakirekanti Mogilaiah, Goshika Venkatesham, Ashok, Saidulu and a large number of workers attended the programme.
