Day temp in Medak eases by 1 deg C

Medak: Although the day temperature in Medak fell on Friday to 38 degrees Celsius, by one degree, than the previous day, the highest temperatures elsewhere went up.

The Met department bulletin listed the other maximum temperatures as 39 deg C in Ramagundam and Bhadrachalam, 38 deg C each in Adilabad, Hyderabad, Khammam, Mahbubnagar, Nalgonda and Nizamabad, 37 in Hanamkonda and 36 in Hakimpet.

They went up slightly. The lowest minimum temperature of 20 degrees Celsius was recorded in Medak and Hakimpet.

According to the bulletin, the day temperatures in the State on Saturday are likely to be above normal by two-four degrees C at a few places.

Light to moderate rain or thundershowers are very likely to occur at isolated places on March 17.

Dry weather is forecast on March 18 and 19. No large change during the period March 20-22 is the weather outlook.

The rain is being caused by an upper air cyclonic circulation extending up to 0.9 km above the mean sea level over interior Odisha and neighbourhood which now lies over south Odisha and its neighbourhood.

An upper air cyclonic circulation over Vidarbha and adjoining Madhya Maharashtra now lies over Vidarbha and adjoining Telangana.
