Degree lecturers problems will be solved soon: Union leaders

Vemulawada: All the issues of Degree College lecturers will be solved soon, assured Dr K Surender Reddy, the State general secretary of Telangana Government Gazetted College Teachers Association (TGGCTA). On Wednesday, he visited Government Degree College at Agraharam of Vemulawada Urban mandal in Rajanna Sircilla district and discussed various issues pertaining to the lecturers working in government degree colleges.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr K Surendar Reddy informed that the junior lecturers, who were promoted to degree colleges in 2016, will receive the fitment formula related UGC scale and the issues related to UGC-2016, 7th Pay Commission will be solved with the orders that would be issued very soon. The Commissioner responded positively to pay salary for the lecturers, who worked in summer holidays and orders regarding this will be issued soon as per the information received, he assured.

The lecturers must work hard for strengthening the government degree colleges by admitting more number of students along with giving high standard of education to the students so that they can reach greater heights in their future, he advised.

TGCGTA Rajanna Sircilla district unit president Dr V Srinivas, secretary M Rajesh, N Srinivas, lecturers Dr Afsari Usmani, Dr Malla Reddy, Dr Bhadraiah, Dr Rama Devi, Swarupa, Venkateshwarlu, Dr Prabhakar and K Rajesh were present along with others.
