Development of Vemulavada at fast pace: MLA Ramesh Babu
Vemulawada: The development works of Vemulavada Shree Rajarajeswara Swamy Temple, popularly known as Dakshina Kashi, are going on, said Vemulavada Temple Development Authority vice chairman Puroshottam Reddy and MLA Ramesh Babu on Thursday.
The duo inspected the temple lake area of the town as well as the under construction new bridge. Speaking on the occasion, they added that the work on the hut reservoir beautification will be completed soon. "We have purchased 35 acres of land for the construction of the temple lagoon. Proposals have already been forwarded to the District Collector for the bus stations 20 units, Vedic school 5 units near Baddipochamma temple" they said.
"CM KCR asked the officials to widen the city roads by 80 feet. There will be a Sanskrit school and Vedic school and the big pavilion in the pond," they added.
The event was attended by VTDA secretary Bajranga Rao, R&B EE Wijgeshwar, DEE Suresh Babu, Estate Officer Satyanarayana, Irrigation EE, Leaders Polasa Narender, Gemini Srinivas Rao and others.
