Devotees throng Karthika Jatara

Vikarabad: The 'Karthika Jatara' of Sri Anantha Padmanabha Swamy commenced, here on Thursday. The festivities started with 'Dhwajarohanam'. Devotees in large number visited the temple and offered special prayers.

Temple authorities made elaborate arrangements for the convenience of the visitors while police beefed up the security measures. DSP Sanjeeva Rao and CI Srinivas Rao visited the temple and oversaw the security arrangements.
