Devotees throng Sai Baba temples on Guru Purnima in Adilabad

Adilabad: Thousands of devotees thronged Sai Baba temples in the erstwhile Adilabad district on Tuesday and offered special poojas to Sai Baba on the occasion of Guru Purnima. Temples were decorated with flowers.

Devotees conducted special bhajans and free meals was arranged. Meanwhile, all other temples were closed for lunar eclipse and will be reopened

on Wednesday.

Special poojas were performed to Maharshi Vyasa. Guru Purnima is also known as Vyasa Purnima as it marks the birth anniversary of Maharshi Vyasa at Basara temple.
