Devotees throng Shiva temples on the eve of Karthika Pournami in Bhadrachalam

Bhadrachalam: The Lord Shiva temples in Bhadrachalam witnessed heavy rush of devotees on Monday on the eve of Karthika Pournami.

The devotees, after taking a holy dip in River Godavari in the early hours of the day, visited the Shiva temples, performed special pujas and offered prayers. Special Abhishekams were also conducted by the priests.

The historical Shiva temple of Kusumanchi in the district was decorated with fragrant flowers on the day.
