Didn't know what we are doing: Accused in 'Disha' case

Accused in Disha's murder case said that they were not aware of what they are doing. "We were in a drunk state and fed up sitting in a lorry for the entire day," said the accused during interrogation.

The accused also believed that there work would become easy if Disha returns late to the toll booth where her scooter was parked. They said that their intention was to rape the woman. "To escape from being caught by the police, we burnt her body and was unaware that it becomes a big issue," told the police.

The prime accused Mohammad Areef Pasha said that he called Naveen and Chenna Keshavulu to help him in selling stolen iron rods. They sold it at around 3 pm on November 26 and returned to Thondupalli in Shamshabad outskirts. On the next day, they halted at Thondupalli ORR crossroads where they began consuming alcohol at 5.30 pm.
