Director of Hyderabad National Police Academy transferred as new DGP of Odisha

Hyderabad: The Director of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVPNPA), IPS officer Abhay has been transferred to Odisha as new Director General of Police.

The 1986 batch IPS officer on central deputation is presently serving as the Director of NPA in Hyderabad. He is going to replace Dr Bijay Kumar Sharma, whom the Odisha government removed on Wednesday as police chief of the state in a surprising development.
