Hyderabad: Health Minister Eatala Rajender has lauded NIMS resident doctors and doctors for taking time of their busy schedules to participate in Kreedotsav-2020.

The two-day sporting event for resident doctors and doctors from various departments was held on Saturday and Sunday. Eatala visited the venue, LB Stadium on Sunday morning. He was welcomed by doctors.

The health minister held a cricket bat and played a few deliveries also. He did not make any speech unlike in official events or programmes. But, Eatala welcomed the idea.

He felt such recreational activities are good for doctors, who are under professional stress and workload, on a daily basis. Events like these help doctors to rejuvenate and re-energize them, he felt.

Nearly 400 participants including doctors, resident doctors took part in the two-day sports meet, NIMS RDA president Dr G Srinivas said.
