Driver's death triggers blame game: BJP holds KCR responsible
Hyderabad: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders said Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was directly responsible for RTC driver Srinivas Reddy's death.
It is only after K Chandrashekar Rao's brazen decision to dismiss all 48,000 employees and after his provocative statements, Srinivas Reddy took a hasty decision to end his life, the party alleged.
In a press note issued on Monday, BJP State chief spokesperson K Krishna Saagar Rao accused Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao of inciting this distress leading to suicide of Srinivas Reddy.
The BJP appealed to RTC employees to not lose hope and not indulge in any physical harm to themselves. It is important to be strong and fight with unity against K Chandrashekar Rao's oppressive regime, he said extending condolences to members of the bereaved family.
He said going forward Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and his government will have to face the wrath of not just RTC employees, but entire people of Telangana State.
Everyone in the State are already affected with inconsiderate decisions of the Chief Minister.
The BJP will stand behind RTC employees and will protect their rights and ensure K Chandrashekar Rao is forced to recall all his recent decisions and resolve RTC employees' issues.
