DS urges CM to hold talks with RTC staff
Hyderabad: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) leader and Rajya Sabha member D Srinivas on Friday demanded that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao take up talks with the RTC workers in a cordial atmosphere and provide job security to the workers and end the controversy.
In a letter written to the Chief Minister, D Srinivas said that the agitation by TSRTC workers reminded him of the Telangana agitation. He said that it was not proper to privatise the Corporation when it was not divided legally.
"As the Chief Justice of High Court said, the officials seem to be misleading you with wrong figures. It raises doubts that some people were behind the conspiracy as you are being strict, which is against your normal behaviour," said Srinivas.
D Srinivas further said that apart from the RTC workers, the common people were also suffering because of the prolonged strike.
He said that if the Chief Minister calls workers for talks even people would appreciate his decision. He urged the Chief Minister to resolve the issue as the head of the family.
