Ramagundam: Durga Puja off to colourfull start in NTPC Township

Ramagundam: Durga Puja celebrations started at Cha Cha Nehru Park of NTPC-Ramagundam on Friday evening.

The park wore a festive look much to the delight of township residents as well as nearby people who participated in a large number. ED-Ramagundam & Telangana Dr P P Kulkarni, all GMs and Township residents attended the Durga Bodhan followed by Adhibas Puja rituals in the evening.

During the five-day celebrations from Mahasasthi to Vijaya Dashmi, many cultural programmes are lined up. On the opening day, Fun Game, Fancy Dress and Musical Antakshyari competitions were held. In the remaining four days, activities like musical orchestra, drawing competition for Children, puppet show, magic show, dandiya mahostav etc are planned.
