DYFI, SFI take to streets, but this time to fill potholes in Suryapet
Suryapet: Activists of Democratic Youth Federation of India and Students Federation of India condemned the apathy of municipal officials for not filling the potholes formed on the roads of Suryapet town due to Mission Bhagiratha works and recent rains.
On Wednesday, the activists and students came forward and filled the potholes located near Vanijya Bhavan in the town.
Leaders of the duo organisations stated that people of the town have been suffering a lot due to bad condition of roads. They alleged that Minister Jagadish Reddy has not done anything in this regard though they have complained to him several times.
They demanded both municipal and R&B officials to carry repair of pathetic roads of the town on war footing for the safe journey of denizens.
Leaders of the duo organisations J Narsimha Rao, D Srikanth Varma, S Upender, V Uttej , Y Shiva, S Venkanna, Rambabu, Mahaboob Ali, Gopi, Sathish and others participated in the programme.
