Election model code of conduct ends in Telangana

With the conclusion of local body elections, the model code of conduct ended in Telangana. The election code was is in place during the assembly elections in the state. And then it came to effect again at Panchayat elections.

Later, the election code pertaining to General elections came into existence. While the code is in place, elections for MPTC, ZPTC held in the state. With the end of MPP, ZP president, vice-president and co-option member election, the code came to end in the state.
