Election staff assigned duties: Collector M Prashanthi

Nirmal: Election duties has been assigned to the district election staff through randomization in the presence of District Collector M Prashanthi and General Observer Chiranjeevulu for the first phase of ZPTC and MPTC elections, at the Collector conference hall in Nirmal on Thursday.

The first phase of elections will be held on May 6.

First phase of MPTC and ZPTC elections will be held in Dasturabad, Kadam, Khanapur, Lakshmanachanda, Mamada, Pembi and Dilawarpur, mandals. 294 polling stations were arranged for which polling officers, assistant polling officers and other staff were appointed, the Collector informed. Joint Collector A Bhasakar Rao, District Panchayatraj Officer Srinivas, horticulture officer Sharath Kumar and others were present.
