Election symbols allotted

Hanamkonda: The Returning Officer, Warangal Lok Sabha constituency, Prashanth Jeevan Patil has appealed to candidates in election fray to cooperate with the authorities to make poll process a success.

In a meeting with contestants and their poll agents here on Thursday, he said that all the

candidates will be given identity cards.

"The candidates belonging to recognised political parties will get voter list free of cost. The other candidates will have to pay prescribed amount to get the voter list," Patil said.

He told the candidates to submit their polling agents' list before April 2.

On the occasion, officials allotted elections symbols for the independent candidates in the presence of General Observer for Warangal Lok Sabha constituency Dr Veena Pradhan.

Warangal Rural collector M Haritha, Jangaon Collector T Vinaykrishna Reddy and Police observer were among others present.
