Electricity staff talks postponed to October 15

Hyderabad: The talks on the issues being faced by electricity employees of the state, being held on Friday, have been postponed to October 15.

The Telangana Electricity Trade Unions Front (TE TUF) leaders have held talks with the management over the pending issues of the employees and workers with the CMD and directors.

Important issues of the workers like framing of rules for the 23,000 strong artisans and provision of EPF and GPF to employees who have been recruited between 1999 and 2004 have figured prominently in the talks.

The leaders of TE TUF have said that they would observe the progress of the talks which would be held again on October 15 and would decide on the protest being planned on October 16.
