Engineering student dies in road accident in Hyderabad outskirts

A 20-year-old engineering student killed on spot after being hit by a lorry at Parigi in Shadnagar district in the outskirts of the city.

The victim identified as Simran was pursuing BTech second year at a private college in Shamshabad. She is a resident of Paradise colony.

Meanwhile, mild tension mounted at the spot after the relatives of the victim staged a protest and damaged the lorry which ensued to the heavy traffic jam.

The Shamshabd police rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control. A case was registered by the police.
