Ensure people face no problems at Kanti Velugu camp: Harish Rao

Siddipet: Health Minister T Harsish Rao on Friday asked the local municipal and health department staff to ensure that people did not face any problem at the ongoing 'Kanti Velugu' camp at girls school in Siddipet ward 43.

He was speaking after inspecting the camp along with Medak MLA Padma Devener Reddy and district collector Prashant Jeevan Patil.

Rao interacted with the beneficiaries who stated that the camp facilities were of utility value. He sought from them details like how many were given eye tests and glasses.

Later the minister directed officials to immediately provide reading glasses to the needy beneficiaries. He said the prescription glasses would be made available within 15 days after people register in the app.

Those who accompanied Rao included DMHO Dr. Kashinath, SUDA chairman Ravinder Reddy, municipal commissioner Ravinder Reddy.
