Errabelli tours villages, inspects implementation of 30-day action plan in Yadagirigutta

Yadagirigutta (Yadadri-Bhongir): Minister for Panchayat Raj Errabelli Dayakar Rao stated that people in rural areas were enthusiastically participating in the 30-day action plan programmes to make their villages clean and green with Shramadanam.

On Friday, along with Aler MLA and Government Whip Gongidi Sunitha, the Minister participated in a gram sabha held at Masaipet village of Yadagirigutta mandal in the district. Addressing the gathering, he said Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao with a vision designed the 30-day action plan for the development of villages in all aspects. "People are making their villages clean and neat with Shramadanam under the programme," he underlined.

Stating that government was sanctioning loans to women groups, he stressed on establishment of burial grounds in villages and added that standing committees would decide the places for burial grounds.

He asserted that government initiative brought radical changes in mind set of rural people and people are not throwing litter outside the house and open defecation has also been reduced.

A majority of villages were restoring the lost greenery with plantation drives under Haritha Haram programme, he said. Later, the Minister laid a foundation stone for 2 BHK houses in the village. After that, Rao visited Yadadri and had the darshan of Lord Srilaxmi Narasimha Swamy and performed special pujas.
