In addition to this, kids have to go through the admission process where they are tested and analyzed whether they fit into their institution.

An employee from HPS Kidz Playschool, says "We do have formal interview with the child and the parents.

It helps us with the admission process as we have to go through a lot.

The annual fees we charge for UKG is around Rs 36,000 which will include books and uniform.

Greengables International school charges Rs 2, 22,800 as fees for UKG per annum also organizes interviews for children.

The admission form however is free of cost.

Seema Agarwal, a member of Hyderabad School Parents Association says, "A PIL has been filed regarding admission forms being expensive.

The court has not been clear about the decision on it, these schools are taking advantage."
