EVMs & VVPATs allocated

Rangareddy: District Joint Collector Harish said that EVMs and VVPATs were allocated to constituencies through first randomisation under the presence of representatives of political parties.

He held a review meet on allocating EVMs and VVPATs to Assembly constituencies along with political leaders at Tahsildar office here on Friday. Harish sought cooperation of people in conducting the elections peacefully.

He said it was also the responsibility of representatives of political parties to ensure free and fair elections. The JC said as many as 3864 control units and 4162 VVPATs were alloted to the district through randomisation.
