Ravichandra said that he had been tasked with party affairs in Khammam district by the president and he would strive hard to ensure the victory of Nama Nageshwara Rao in Khammam MP election.

He said he would like to do his bit as the State embarks on Golden Telangana journey under the leadership of K Chandrashekar Rao.

Meanwhile, TDP Hyderabad president M N Srinivas, city secretaries, spokesperson, BC cell and trade union leaders and their supporters joined the TRS in the presence of working president KT Rama Rao and Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav on Saturday.

Welcoming them into the party fold, Rama Rao said that the TDP base in Telangana is wiped out mostly and it is a good sign that leaders from GHMC limits are strengthening TRS hands. He assured that they would be given due importance in the pink party.

TJS candidate from Wardhannapet assembly P Devaiah also switched loyalties towards TRS on Saturday. Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao facilitated his joining in TRS. Rama Rao adorned Devaiah with a pink scarf and welcomed him to the party.
