Faizan death suspected to be murder: wife

The case of businessman Faizan who allegedly killed himself on ORR has taken a new turn after his wife suspected it was a murder.

Faizan's wife approached the police and said that her husband was murdered. She said that Faizan had been worried over financial problems and left home on a business deal of Rs 3 crore. However, the police investigated the case and confirmed that it was suicide.

The police said that they have retrieved the call details and learned that Faizan was in constantly in touch with a friend for the past two days before his suicide. Faizan's friend said that the former was worried about financial problems.

The CCTV footage also showed the Faizan was alone in the car when he committed suicide, said police. The police seized the country-made gun and sent it to the forensic lab. Meanwhile, the family of Faizan said that they have never seen a gun with him.

Faizan was found injured in a red Mercedes Benz car on Friday afternoon on Outer Ring Road (ORR) near Narsingi. He then succumbed to bullet injuries on Saturday.
